Easy Oracle PL/SQL by John Garmany

Very good book. I have been reading quite a few so call good Oracle PLSQL book, but a lot of concepts are still vague in my mind like IN, OUT, INOUT, variable scope, and cursor. This book with its clear and lucid prose dispels all my myst.

Recent oracle tuning books i read

Oracle tuning 101 book, the prose is a bit skewy and information not organized step by step but it has good chapters on hardware tuning and some excellent analogies.

Oracle 10g tuning book by Powell, prose is plain but sometimes long winded, is a very good sql tuning book, can read.

Oracle SQL tuning by Guy Harrison, very technical, not a good first book to start.
